From a Limassol sprint to a sub-ten Ironman

The record starts at the Limassol Triathlon in November 2018, a sprint that year run in a run-bike-run format. Within four years it reached a full Ironman in Barcelona, finished in 9:55:14, inside the ten-hour mark that most age-group athletes chase for years.

In between came six Ironman 70.3 starts across Spain, Italy, Bahrain, Turkey, the UAE and Greece. The fastest was Turkey in 2020 (4:16:08); the best placing was 4th in the M30-34 age group in Greece in 2021. Dubai 2021 is listed as a DNF because it was one.

The training happens around a full-time job as an investor and builder in applied AI. More on that work at idofishman.ai.
